Yukinaga Shibari Do 雪長縛り道 (Yukinag way of the rope)
The system Yukinaga Ryu 雪長流 contain the learning from his sensei’s:
The now departed Grandmaster Yukimura Haruki 雪村春樹 1948 - 2016 and Osada Steve 長田スティーブ, but also other Bakushis who also have been a great inspiration to him, such as Nawashi Kanna 縄師神凪 and
Miura Takum 神浦匠
Yukinaga is most attracted to the the old traditional way of the rope.
Today, Yukinaga Max 雪長マックス runs the Copenhagen Shibari Dojo, with around 80 members, reciving weekley training.
We have dojos in Copenhagen, Oslo and Barcelona. Each dojo has at least one highly skilled
instructor certified by Yukinaga Max Sensei.

Yukinaga Max & Tina
Since 1995, Max has along with his wife Tina, had a great interest in the genuine Japanese Kinbaku.
Through tutorials, workshops and seminars all over Europe and by a greater and greater immersion in the Japanese segment.
Max was in 2009 presented with one of Japan's recognized Bakushi, Osada Steve 長田スティーブ and became the Deshi for Osada Steve Sensei,
At the same time Yukinaga Max was presentet to the famous Great Grandmaster Yukimura Haruki 雪村春樹 Sensei, and started his long way in understanding and practice the Yukimura Way of the rope.
For years Max was thought by his two senseis: The now departed Great Grand Master Yukimura Haruki 雪村春樹 (1948-2016)
and Osada Steve 長田スティーブ
Over the years it developed into a deep friendship and a great mutual inspiration for all parties.
This has naturally led to studies in history, culture, Japanese language and not least a deep understanding of the people in and behind the Japanese Kinbaku enviroment.
The friendship with Osada Steve and Yukimura Haruki has lead them to Japan many times and lead to hundred of hours, training with not onley his two senseis, but also several of the major Japanese Bakushier, like Miura Takumi, Nawashi Kanna ect.
The many hours of hard work and deep connection and dedication to the Senseis are prerequisites for being able to master and gain a full understanding of the ancient techniques.
Yukinaga always say: Know the man behind the tie, and eventually you will understand the technique.

Haru Tatsu is the student name Tina received from Grat Grandmaster Yukimura Haruki in 2012.
She is the first model to ever get a student name in recognition of her hard effort and dedication.
Yukinaga Max.

Yukinaga Max is the Bakushi name that Max was assigned by his two sensei, for having achieved a great understanding and mastery of Kinbaku.
The first kanji in Yukinaga is the “Yuki” (雪) in Yukimura. As often is the case, kanji have more than one reading, i.e. Osada could also be read as Nagata. It is that “Naga” (長) which forms the second kanji in Yukinaga (雪長).
As Yukinaga Max carries on the tradition of Japanese bondage, making it available to shibari/kinbaku enthusiasts in Europe, his name aptly represents a combination of the names of his two sensei.

After many years of training and sharing thoughts with
Grandmaster Yukimura Haruki, Yukinaga Max now finds himself ready to convey his knowledge thoughts and understanding in Yukimura Haruki's complex techniques and underlying thoughts.
A great success and a great challenge for the participants and
Yukinaga Max now believe that the West is slowly becoming ready to go into a new dimension of Kinbaku.

The first Kyu test in the new Yukinaga Shibari Do took place.
The two instructor couples Jørgen & Trine passed the 3 Kyu test and Morten & Elisa the 4 Kyu test.
On the same day Jørgen passed the examen to become instructor in
Yukinaga Shibari Do and became the first acclaimed instructor in Denmark.
Yukinaga Shibari do kai, now have 3 licensed instructors.

Morten passed the examen to become an instructor in
